-after a series of this year’s holiday-themed romantic movies to watch from the comfort of your own home
Tale
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win Fan of the Year, in a process judged by Director of Fan Engagement, Derrick. The movie was filmed on the historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like it all year round. The locations that served as the Higman family’s store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ restaurant are real-life family-owned businesses.
But I’m sorry, that was a mistake
The Square also has a Christmas light display like the one in the movie.. Well… I’m a Chiefs fan; I’m a Hunter King fan and I’m a Tyler Hines fan.
They really nailed it
I wish I could stop here, but unfortunately, I have to elaborate. If you’re not a Chiefs fan, I don’t know how you got to the end of a movie like this. I didn’t find the chemistry between Hines and King very strong at all.
was pretty good as the old slob
The writing was so-so, and the overall plot was a little weird. I liked the supporting cast, and Ed Begley, Jr. I thought it was interesting that there was a scene where the whole family was being beaten with an egg hammer in a Hallmark movie.
But I don’t
I wish I had better things to say.
